Welcome to Hah News.

We are a team of journalists trained in journalism schools and with years of experience in frontline reporting. Many of us worked in major Chinese media outlets before launching this independent project.

At Hah News, we publish 50–100 bite-sized social news stories every day. Each report is 100–200 words long and focuses on real, often overlooked events — local incidents, legal news, touching reunions, and everyday surprises.

While mainstream news tends to prioritize major headlines, we believe the most truthful reflection of society comes from these ordinary moments. Our mission is to document them in a lightweight, accessible format — one that makes you smile, reflect, or simply feel a bit closer to the world around you.
