A 50-year-old man in 长沙 (Changsha, China), Mr. Wang, had been suffering from pneumonia that was not responding to treatment. The doctors found a toothpick in his lung tissue. After its removal, Mr. Wang recalled that he might have accidentally inhaled the toothpick while drunk and picking his teeth, leading to his illness. The man has since recovered.
