A woman in 邵阳 (Shaoyang, China) was rejected when she requested to reduce her child support payment from 2,000 yuan to 800 yuan per month after her divorce. She claimed that she was under a lot of pressure and wanted to pay less. However, the court rejected her request because she received 310,000 yuan at the time of the divorce and was unable to prove that her income had decreased significantly.
