Recently, a male blogger was caught after proposing to a man in the Chengdu subway, China, and the incident has been widely reported. The blogger and his photographer were detained for fabricating a story about being gay to attract traffic and make a profit. After being detained, they apologized, stating that their actions had severely damaged the image of Chengdu, China.
