In Xiangcheng County, Xuchang, Henan Province, China, nearly a hundred remains were found in a pit, along with shell casings, belt buckles, and scabbards. According to the county annals and archival records, as well as accounts from local villagers, it is believed that these remains may be related to the anti-Japanese war. Relevant departments have now initiated an identity verification process.
