In Beijing, China’s Fangshan District, a construction site was targeted by thieves who stole over 300 iron pipes valued at more than 50,000 yuan. Police officers pursued the suspect on foot for 10 kilometers, following tire tracks through fields, and eventually caught the culprit, who turned out to be an elderly man attempting to save money on construction costs for his own house by using a three-wheeled vehicle to travel to the site and commit the theft.
