A man from Xinjiang, China, surnamed Ai, attended a wedding banquet, got drunk, and was sent back home, where he suddenly died. His family demanded compensation of 250,000 yuan from 4 of his colleagues, but the court ruled that the colleagues had fulfilled their due obligations and were not liable. However, based on their friendship, the 4 colleagues voluntarily compensated 10,000 yuan.
