A 3-year-old child in Shanghai, China, unfortunately passed away due to myocarditis. The parents, who had purchased a critical illness insurance policy with a coverage of 500,000 yuan, only received a compensation of 13,800 yuan. The insurance company claimed that the condition did not meet the criteria for severe myocarditis and therefore could not be reimbursed under the critical illness insurance policy. In other news, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has announced that marriage registration will be implemented nationwide in China, allowing couples to register their marriage without having to return to their hometown, as they will be able to do so at any local civil affairs office.
