A 10-year-old boy from Lingshui, Hainan Province, China, stole a small boat from a scenic area and drifted at sea for a whole day and night, eventually being rescued 30 kilometers away in Sanya, China. The boy is known to be very mischievous, often climbing trees in the village and setting fires, and had even burned down a land temple before being rescued. After returning home, he was afraid of being scolded and beatings, and hid again.
